We are now living in the age of globalization. Every corner of the world are interconnected in many aspect whether it is economics, politics or culture. Citizens of the world welcome the change differently, some fiercely refuses to adapt. Some others tend to be willingly accept the shifting flow of things. The Southeast Asian countries as well, were facing the dramatic flow of information from the outside world. Thailand, as one of the ASEAN community, try to cope up with the rapidly changing pace of neighboring nations. Stumbled and falling behind, now it is such a significant task of the government and its people to rekindled what has been lost then catch up with everyone.
Law, as the governing factors of the society, plays major role in this affair. what is to be allowed or prohibited is the crucial decision that will encourages the countries growth in each pillars of the society, be it economic, politic or culture.
This blog, as the name suggested, res publica juris, a latin for the public law or law for the commons, was made to provide the information on legal provisions available of ASEAN countries and its mechanisms. I'll try to cover the aspect in which i found interesting and needed to be known. This blog may not be able to cover or all the contents and aspect of ASEAN law but i'll try to bring as many as possible.
The blog contents will be both in Thai and English depends on the material.
